Kris Kubik: I wish they’d just turn off the clock (Video Interview)

Kris Kubik, associate head coach of the Texas Men’s swimming program, shared his insight with swimswam on Sunday night after the Longhorn Elite Invite this weekend. He commented on the fact that over the plethora of big time meets that the finest swimmers from every nation used as tune ups this past weekend, everyone was in a different place in their training.

As you could see from the times put up, some are starting to come down a lot with their training, and others are still a 7-14 days out from when they start their taper process. He recognized that no matter where swimmers were this weekend, hopefully they got what they needed to move forward the best they can, and every american can be at their best within 3 weeks time in Omaha.
