The ESPN-W Summit, which is a summit hosted by ESPN’s women’s sports division to, begins this week in Dana Point, California, and a pair of swimmers have been announced as speakers.

On Wednesday evening at 8PM, Evans will join sporting superstars Mia Hamm, Lindsey Jacobellis, and Sanya Richards Ross in a panel, moderated by ESPN’s Hannah Storm, titled “An Athlete’s Perspective: Balancing Sports + Life.”

The next morning, Sanders will be part of a panel with Gabby Reece on the subject of “Athlete Marketing: Building a Long-term Brand.”

Sanders has been about as successful in that regard as anybody in the world of Olympic sports. The four-time 1992 Olympic medalist (two golds) is more famous for what she’s done since her swimming career. To a certain generation, Sanders is a bit of a television icon with her work on the Nickelodeon gameshow Figure it Out, making her that channel’s first female gameshow host, and as a cohost for the network staple NBA Inside Stuff.

She’s gone on to work with Yahoo! Sports, become a spokesperson for a slew of charitable campaigns, be the official on-deck emcee at the U.S. Olympic swimming trials, and generally build her brand into an undeniable, if subtle, sports empire.

This summit is designed to bring together some of the biggest, baddest, and most powerful names in women’s sports, with the overall theme of “Women matter.”

For more information on the summit, see the official website.
