RICHMOND, Va. (Feb. 4, 2020) – The James Madison duo of Julianna Jones and Emily Gross collected Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Swimmer and Diver of the Week honors this week.
WOMEN’S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Julianna Jones, James Madison

In James Madison’s meet at Marshall over the weekend, Jones placed first in the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 10:09.24. The time currently sits atop the CAA rankings in the 1000 freestyle this season and is more than five seconds faster than the next best time.
WOMEN’S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Emily Gross, James Madison
Junior | Fairfax, Va./Robinson Secondary
Gross placed first in the 1-meter dive at the dual meet against Marshall with a score of 279.45 and second on the 3-meter dive with a score of 287.48. Both of her scores were in NCAA Zone for the second meet in a row.
