Farrow completed the swim in 22 hours and 48 minutes, which, if ratified, is almost three hours faster than the previous fastest time by a woman.
André will compete in the S. Pedro – Cascais Crossing, a 5km race with a total of 130 participants which makes it the largest open water race in Portugal.
Fabian (left) finished 5th in the women’s open water race in Paris and has since returned home to Hungary after being hospitalized.
Beck swam in the women’s open water race on Thursday, finishing 9th out of 24 women. She won gold in the open water race at the 2023 World Championships.
“That was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, ever, I think, with just the current,” said American Katie Grimes who finished 15th in the women’s race.
After winning her second Olympic gold medal in the women’s 10km race, Sharon van Rouwendaal dedicated her win to her dog Rio, who died in May.
Italy’s Gregorio Paltrinieri, who won the bronze medal in the 10km in Tokyo, is one of the favorites here in Paris.
The remainder of Thursday’s CrossFit Games action was suspended, and it is not yet known if the competition will continue this weekend.
