Backstroker Haley Sutton out of Hatboro Horsham Swimming in Horsham, Pennsylvania has verbally committed to Towson University, according to her team’s Twitter feed.
Sutton is a backstroker who should be able to find a niche on Towson’s roster in both collegiate distances.

- 50 back (split): 27.31
Sutton looks like a swimmer with some upside – on USA Swimming’s SWIMS database, her earliest recorded swims were last October, just over a year ago. Since that time, she’s dropped 6 seconds in the 100 back and 10 in the 200 back.
