On day 1 of the Harold Anderson Invite at Rhode Island University, Bryant University downed a meet record in the 400 medley relay to highlight the night.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men’s swimming and diving team set a Harold Anderson meet record in the 400 medley relay to highlight a strong performance on Friday night in Kingston, R.I.
The Bulldogs find themselves in second place with 266 points after the first session. Maine leads the five-team field with a total of 277 points.
Bryant started the night strong, setting a meet record in the 400 medley relay. Colin Curtin(Wethersfield, Conn.), Ben Schulte (Tumon, Guam), Boris Paraliticci (Saunderstown, R.I.)and Zachary Hannon (Marlborough, Conn.) combined to win the event with a time of 3:27.13.
The Black and Gold also received a strong performance in the 3-meter dive. Kevin Sullivan (East Lyme, Conn.) won the event with a score of 197.35 and Ryan Sheehy (West Newbury, Mass.)finished second with a score of 178.95.
Other top performers included Schulte, George Sommerville (Pittsfield, Mass.) and Paraliticci. Schulte finished third in the 200 IM and Sommerville and Paraliticci finished 4-5 in the 50 free.
