Virginia teammates and sisters Alex and Gretchen Walsh swept their individual events at the NCAA Championships, going 6-for-6 en route to helping UVA win their 4th consecutive team title. The Walsh sisters give us their thoughts on their races and moving into the long course season next.

Agreed. SWIMSWAM should give equal importance to all members of the winning team not just a couple. They all deserve the spotlight.

Unlike you I’m not having a go. I think Swim Swam have done an amazing job covering NCAAS. I have been looking forward to it for months and the coverage has been great. Recaps, interviews, pickems, Yanyan’s article etc. The reality is some of these podcasts are from the winners of the races which is expected we are not going to hear from every single person Swim Swam cannot feasibly do that. Ella’s story is just super interesting and great motivation and message it reminds us that amongst all the superhuman swims and wins you can still be a great swimmer, super consistent, a key leader and person of the team even if you’re not out there annihilating records and… Read more »
