The Iowa State Cyclones pulled in another 2 verbal commitments, with Grace Snyder and Wyli Erlechman announcing their intentions to join the team next fall. Snyder will be staying in state next season, while Erlechman will make the move from Illinois to Iowa.
GRACE SNYDER:
Snyder is an Ames, Iowa local where she attends Ames Senior High School and trains with the Ames Cyclone Aquatics Club. At last weekend’s 2016 Iowa Girls State Championships, Snyder helped Ames High win their 6 state title in the last 7 years. She took the fly leg of the 200 medley relay, assisting the team in a new State Record. Individually, she swam to a 4th place finish in the 100 fly. She’s also got a silver medal in the 100 fly from the 2015 state meet to her name.

WYLI ERLECHMAN:
Erchelman is from from Naperville, Illinois, where she’s currently a senior at Nequa Valley High School. Her club training base is with the Fox Valley Swim Team. Last season, Erlechman was a finalist at the 2016 Illinois Girls State Championships. There, she swam to a 7th place finish in the 100 fly. She was also a medalist at the 2015 Illinois Girls Sectional Championships in Neuqua Valley, placing 3rd in the 100 fly.
