The official YouTube Channel for the 2014 Commonwealth Games does have a globally available live stream that will be airing events from the entirety of the 2014 event. Meet organizers will be updating the link every day, but the embedded video above is the day 1 link.
There are multiple events going on at any one time, so viewers will be left a bit to the whim of the programmers, but for those residing outside of the Commonwealth of Nations, this is the best legitimate bet so far.
It is currently working in the U.S., and everyone’s favorite commenter bobo gigi says that it’s working in France as well. We’ve gotten reports that the live stream also works in Brazil, which leads us to believe that at least in most non-Commonwealth countries, it’s working.
More days worth of videos are below, which will become available as the events happen:
Emma Mckeon 1.55.57CR, O’Connor 1.55.82, Barrat 1.56.62. Good race
Emma McKeon 1.55.57cr gold. Good swim. O’Connor in silver 1.55.82 and Barrat in bronze 1:56.62. Good race….
Ryan Cochrane just smoked a 3.43. The best paced 400free ever! And Miley’s 4.31 was a class act. In the 400IM final, Wilmott was 2sec under wr going into freestyle; and yet Mile finished 3sec slower than wr. Shows how Ye’s free split was extremely outstanding….
Hannah Miley – 4.31.76
Willmott – 4.33.01
Are they really showing SQUASH right now?
Thank you Bobo Gigi for the link! 😉
However, “everyone’s favorite commenter” is too much.
You’re gonna make me blush!
And I’m not sure it reflects the reality. 😆
