Georgia did not put their strongest lineup in, with many swimmers competing in off events, but won the meet handily on both sides regardless.

Olivia Smoliga, Meaghan Raab, Lauren Harrington and Chantal Van Landeghem got the Lady Bulldogs rolling with a win in the 200 medley relay in 1:41.95. That was the same medley combination Georgia used against Tennessee, with the exception of  Annie Zhu, who swam the breaststroke leg on the “B” relay and split a 29.74 to Raab’s 29.21.

Hali Flickinger won the 1000 handily in 9:47.41. She added another win in the 100 backstroke with a 54.22. Amber McDermott took second in 56.05. Megan Kingsley took third in 56.43.

Raab added three individual wins to the Georgia onslaught as well. The first came in the 200 IM with a 2:00.82. McDermott again took second with a 2:03.76. Ming Ong of Emory was third with a 2:06.19.

The next win came in the 100 breaststroke with a 1:04.83. Annelise Kowalsky hit the wall second in 1:05.33.

The third win came in the 200 breaststroke with a 2:18.60, beating a field full of Emory swimmers. Lizzie Aronoff took second with a 2:22.76.

Georgia swept the 200 freestyle as well, with Emily Cameron finishing first in 1:50.47, Madeline Locus finished in second with a 1:50.64, and Olivia Boggs completed the sweep with a 1:51.29.

Cameron also won the 500 freestyle in 4:52.05, beating teammate Stephanie Peters (4:55.19) and Courtney Peters (4:59.94) as part of yet another Georgia sweep.

Cameron also took third in the 50 freestyle with a 23.82.  Harrington finished first with a 22.74, and Smoliga was second in 23.35.

Harrington, Jordan Mattern, and Olivia Boggs gave the Lady Bulldogs still another sweep in the 100 freestyle. Harrington swam to a 49.56, while Mattern was 51.83, Boggs was 52.47.

The Lady Bulldogs were simply too much for Emory. The meet ended with Locus, Van Landeghem, Smoliga, and Harrington combining for a 1:31.40 victory in the 200 freestyle relay. Harrington had the fastest split with a 22.47.

The men’s half of the meet had a similar script to that of the women’s. The Bulldogs once again put swimmers in off events and were still dominant.

Taylor Dale, Chase Kalisz, Clark Pace, and Matias Koski paced the field in the 200 medley relay with a 1:29.85. Georgia swept the medley relay, with the B relay finishing in 1:32.59 and the C relay finishing in 1:32.95.

Only two men swam the 1000, and it was Georgia’s Garrett Powell taking the win in 9:17.59. Emory’s Eagan Zettlemoyer was the runner up in 9:51.45.

Jay Litherland finished first in the 200 IM with a 1:50.24. Derek Onken and Nick Fink tied for second in 1:52.83. Jay Litherland would add a second victory in the 200 breaststroke, where he finished in 2:05.16.

Georgia scored still another sweep in the 200 freestyle from Koski, Kevin Litherland, and Conor Sweeney finished in 1:38.85, 1:39.19, and 1:40.30 respectively.

Fink added a win in the 100 backstroke in 49.09, with Kalisz posting a second place finish in 49.77. Pace Clark took third for Georgia in 49.82.

Andrew Wilson gave Emory a win with a 56.65 in the 100 breaststroke. Basil Orr’s  58.87 was good enough for second for Georgia. Emory also took third with John Mattern’s 59.62.

Powell Brooks, Mick Litherland, and Jared Markham combined for a Georgia sweep in the 200 butterfly in 1:49.80, 1:50.33, and 1:52.12 respectively.

Chris Powell won the 50 freestyle in 20.92, with Alec Cohen taking second just a hair behind in 20.93. Cohen returned to win the 100 freestyle in 45.34 for the Bulldogs. Emory’s Wes Duke was second in 45.89.

Clark, Garrett Powell, and Aidan Sweeney swept the 200 backstroke with a 1:48.27, 1:49.16, and 1:50.85 respectively.

Kevin Litherland won the 500 freestyle in 4:28.14. Brooks finished second in 4:33.05.

Georgia wrapped up the evening, and the domination of the meet, with a 1:21.29 200 freestyle relay performance from Cohen, Markham, John Simmons, and Conor Sweeney. Simmons had the fastest split with a 20.60.
