“I really couldn’t be more proud of the women’s performance today,” said Young. “And the men have a lot to be excited about from today.”
Davidson’s Sarah Helen Shepherd won three events, touching the wall first in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.09), the 200 breaststroke (2:22.33) and the 200 IM (2:06.40).
“She’s been a rock for us, leading the way,” said Young.

Francis and Goodhead joined Hope Carpenter and Olivia Stanley to win the 4×50 medley relay (1:47.16), and Goodhead, Stanley, Anna Linzell and Kate Pottle swam to first in the 4×50 free relay (1:38.73).
On the men’s side, diver Daniel Valmassei swept the one- and three- meter competitions compiling 302.18 and 274.65 points, respectively.
