Skylar Brgoch from Aurora, Colorado has verbally committed to swim at Washington State University. Brgoch specializes in the sprint freestyle and butterfly events.

Brgoch is a rising senior at Cherokee Trail High School in Aurora, Colorado. She currently holds 5 team records and 3 pool records at CTHS. She also swims year-round with Aces Swim Club out of Centennial, Colorado. Her best times in SCY are:

At the 2021 Colorado (CHSAA) Girls 5A State Championships, she finished 9th overall in the 100-yard butterfly while setting a new personal best (55.92). Two weeks later, she traveled to Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin and dropped a 55.65. For reference, Brgoch’s best time in this event in 2020 was a 58.37.

Based on Brgoch’s 100-yard butterfly best time, she would’ve scored points in the B-Final at last season’s PAC-12 Conference Championships. The Cougar Women finished 7th overall at the 2021 Pac-12 Championships.
Brgoch recently swam at the Western Zone Senior Championships (LCM) and dropped personal best times in the 50 freestyle (27.53), 100 freestyle (59.78), 400 freestyle (4:42.90), 50 butterfly (29.76), and 100 butterfly (1:03.56).
Brgoch joins recent commits Kirstin de Goede, Emily Lundgren, and Lauren Willie as members of the incoming class of 2026.
