The French Federation is releasing a series of quick-hit videos on the FFN YouTube channel introducing members of France’s 2016 Olympic team in facts and figures. The videos are all under a minute and are a great way to portrait France’s stars for the Snapchat crowd.
In this video, we learn that Aurélie Muller:
-won the World Junior title in the 1500 free at Rio de Janeiro in 2006
-won the European Junior title in the 400 free in Palma de Mallorca in 2006;
-began open water swimming in 2007;
-participated in the first Olympic Games for open water swimming in Beijing in 2008;
-won a silver medal in the 5k open water race at the 2011 World Championships in Shanghai;
-went to train in Canada in 2014;
-returned to France in 2015 to train with coach Philippe Lucas;
-won France’s first world championship title in open water, winning the 10k in Kazan in 2015;
-is 26 years old.
