BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University swimming & diving teams swept Keiser on Friday afternoon by a pair of convincing final scores. The women’s team took a 172-89 win, while the men won by a 176-86 final score.

- The men’s 400 free relay team of Rateb Hussein, Maximiliano Ahumada, Peter Tanner, Jr., and Alec Peckmann swam to first (3:03.26)
- FAU’s second-place 400 relay squad of Brett Reason, Timo Paisley, Taylor Eaton, and Logan Thornsberry set a freshman record. The quadrant stopped the clock at 3:07.68 to beat the previous freshman record of 3:08.70., which was a mark that stood since 2008
- The women’s 200 medley relay team of Riley Trout, Mary Adam, Grace Molinaro, and Dolores Margni took first place (1:47.81)
- The men’s 200 medley relay team also captured first, as the team of Nick Shaffer, Quinn LaCoursiere, Hussein and Tanner Jr. swam to a time of 1:32.57
- Maggie Casey won the 1,000 free (10:34.06)
- Cameron Speed swam to a first-place finish in the 200 free (1:23.05)
- Grace Molinaro captured first place in the 100 back (1:02.55)
- Jake Bair took home first in the 100 back (55.76)
- Adam also won the 100 breast with a time of 1:06.33
- Peckmann captured first in the 100 breast (55.26)
- Margni swam to a first-place finish in the 200 fly (2:05.65)
- Hussein took the top spot in the 200 fly (1:50.70)
- Taking home the 100 free was Kasia Szlek (53.67). Szlek additionally won the 500 free (5:07.19)
- Jackson Kirk won the 100 free (46.13)
- Trout captured first place in the 200 back (2:05.42)
- Ahumada won the 200 back stopping the clock at 1:52.43
- Nika Culina won the 200 breast (2:24.33)
- Shaffer finished in first place in the 500 free (4:36.88)
- Molinaro touched the wall at 57.31 in the 100 fly to finish in first
The Owls will return to the pool for a home scrimmage against Princeton on Oct. 22.

The No. 1 Keiser University Men’s Swimming fell to Florida Atlantic in a dual meet on Friday afternoon in Boca Raton, Fla. Segel Acuna, Fynn Kunze, abd Alex Kusik recorded the lone wins for the Seahawks.

- Fynn Kunze (57.61) and Emerson Zaplatar (57.85) went 2-3 in the 100 breaststroke.
- Gaetano Zapata (200 fly, 1:57.97), Garcia Marcos (100 free, 46.69), and Kusik (200 back, 1:52.48) posted second place finishes.

- Freibach (100 breaststroke, 1:06.71), Hudson (200 fly, 2:06.45), Danai Sofoulis (50 free, 25.17), Emma Sofie Augustsson (100 free, 54.53) and Taryn Dailey (100 fly, 59.15) posted second place finishes.
- The relay quartet of D. Sofoulis, Aspegren, Dailey, and Augustsson finished runner-up in the 400 free relay.
