FINA Synchronised Swimming World Trophy starts Dec 13

Up-and-coming synchronised swimming stars from Canada, China, Italy, Mexico, Russia, Spain and Ukraine are set to compete in the ninth edition of the FINA Synchronised Swimming World Trophy, organised on December 13-14, 2014 in Beijing (CHN).

The competition programme includes a Synchro Highlight Routine, Thematic Duet, Solo Exhibition, Thematic Team and Free Combination. To encourage innovation and creativity, scores are given for artistic impression only and rules allow the use of accessories. The Solo Exhibition will not be judged.

All events of the FINA Synchronised Swimming World Trophy 2014 will be available on FINAtv at www.fina.org. The schedule is as follows:

December 13, 2014
Start Time: 10:30-13:30 GMT

December 14, 2014
Start Time: 11:00-14:00 GMT

Spain holds three World Trophy titles (2008, 2010 and 2011), Russia (2006, 2007) and China (2012, 2013) triumphed in two editions and Canada won at home in 2009.
