With 2 Pro Swim Series meets and the Longhorn Elite Invite all being contested on the same weekend, some of the nation’s best swimmers and top international talent were all spread out across different meets. We’re just 3 weeks out of Olympic Trials in Omaha, and several Olympic hopefuls used these meets as their final tuneup before the big show. It also gave the American veterans a chance to compete with some of the swimmers they may be up against in Rio.
We’ve put together a list of the top 6 swimmers in each race across all of last weekend’s big meets to compare where the swimmers are at as they head towards Trials and this summer’s Olympic Games. These lists also include times from the Tennessee Aquatics meet in Knoxville and the SwimMAC Road to Rio Meet.

Sorry, Why are some names red? I thought it was American’s, but not all of them are red. Is there a key somewhere that I missed?
The red names have links. So if you click the red ones, it’ll take you to their full bio.
Unless you meant American in the sense of someone who lives on an American continent, isn’t Santo Condorelli representing Canada?
Nevermind – I see the other link to just American results from the weekend. I misread the sentence above the results.
I appreciate this article.
🙂
Swammer- Franklin’s 100 back was not one of the top 6 times
Mitch Larkin with the 4:17 400 IM. very solid time, shows he’s very fit right now
You included Simone Manuel’s 100 Free from prelims (53.75) over her finals time (54.11), why not Nic Fink’s 100 Breast from prelims (59.93) over his finals time (1:00.13)?
I appreciate you pointing that out and will correct it. There were several meets with several sessions, so that one slid by me
