Fast-Improving Sprinter Jasper Davis Commits to Indiana (2021)

LC Anderson High School senior Jasper Davis has verbally committed to Indiana for this coming fall. Davis swims with Waterloo Swimming in Austin, Texas.

Davis has grown into a completely different swimmer since the pandemic hit– as of March 2020, his lifetime bests in the sprint free events were 22.9/47.5/1:43.6.

At the 2021 Texas HS 5A State Championships, Davis was the 200 free runner-up with a lifetime best 1:40.53. He was also fourth in the 100 free (46.47) and split a 20.76 anchoring LC Anderson’s third-place 200 free relay.

Indiana’s sprint group is led by rising senior Jack Franzman and rising sophomore Tomer Frankel, while top sprinter Bruno Blaskovic missed the 2021 championship season due to a serious back injury.

Davis joins a massive incoming class for Indiana, including Aidan Reagan, Christopher Lee, Finn Brooks, Jackson Carlile, Joseph Radde, Joshua Matheny, Lucas Piunti, Luke Barr, Mason Carlton, Nichita Bortnicov and Rafael Miroslaw.
