IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly swimming and diving awards.

SWIMMING ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Kaylee Hamblin, Senior, East Carolina
Hamblin led the Pirates to four team wins over the last two weeks, claiming both breaststroke events in a quad meet against William & Mary, Old Dominion and CCSU in Williamsburg on January 11 and again against Liberty at home on January 17-18. She was also a part of the 200-yard medley relay that won in both meets and the 400-yard medley relay against the Flames.

FRESHMAN SWIMMING ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Ludo Pavia, Florida Atlantic
Pavia helped the Owls earn a team win on Senior Day against St. Thomas with two individual wins, including the 50-yard freestyle (23.71) and 100-yard butterfly (51.23). She was also a part of two winning Owl relays in the 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay.

DIVING ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Frida Zuniga Guzman, Redshirt Junior, East Carolina
Zuniga Guzman swept the springboard events in a quad meet at William & Mary as well as against Liberty. In the meet against Liberty, the redshirt junior won the 1-meter event with a score of 309.75 and set a new Minges Natatorium record on the 3-meter boards with 359.25 points.

FRESHMAN DIVING ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Sophia Clack, Florida Atlantic
Clack scored two top-10 finishes in a meet against St. Thomas, Indian River and Georgia Southern on January 18. She played seventh on 3-meter with a score of 200.20 points and placed ninth on 1-meter with 204.30 points.
