Drone Your Way Through Rio’s Olympic Park

Get a ‘bird’s eye’ glimpse into the Rio 2016 Olympic Park, courtesy of the latest video published by Rio 2016 organizers. The new footage takes us above and around Barra Olympic Park, showing the inside of some of the newly constructed arenas, including the Olympic Aquatics Stadium.

Barra Olympic Park is estimated to be at 97% completion at this point. After the Games, the site will continue to be used for future high-performance sport, community use, as well as serving as a special Olympic high school.

The Olympic Aquatics Stadium will actually be dismantled, with its parts used in the construction of two separate swimming facilities in other parts of host nation Brazil.
