The 2015 All-Florida invite is significantly toned down from the 2014 version of the meet last year that feature the women’s national champions from across the country, California.
The Florida Gators appear to have the early advantage, claiming the top seeds in four of the six individual events. The biggest swim of the session was Caeleb Dressel‘s 50 freestyle time of 19.80, making him the first swimmer of the year to break 20 seconds. Dressel was crowned NCAA Champion in the men’s 50 freestyle at the NCAA Championships in Iowa last year.
The women’s 500 freestyle was deep with seven swimmers finishing under 5 minutes. Taylor Katz is the top seed into finals with a 4:52.98. Only two swimmers finished under 4:30 on the men’s side. Pawel Werner has the top seed with a 4:26.36 and Mitch D’Arrigo is right behind him with a 4:27.99.
Towson’s Charlotte Holz claimed the top seed in the women’s 200 IM with a 2:04.35, and Mark Szaranek dropped under 1:50 with a 1:49.99 for the top seed in tonight’s 200 IM. The second closest swimmer was Dressell with a 1:50.47.
In the women’s 50 freestyle, Alexi Smith outputted the field and will be in the middle of the pool tonight at 23.04.

Stupid yard, it is 2015, all the world using LCM & SCM.
Interesting, quite fast for this point in the year. Anyone know if this was suited? I presume it was in just a speedo/brief, making it all the more impressive.
Speedo
Anyone know what time Dressel went last year at this meet?
20.24 in prelims
20.53 in final
It was on October 3, 2014.
At the same meet he swam 44.38 in the 100 free.
You can see all his performances here.

2 people from Alabama went under 20 in their duel meet with delta state earlier this year.
Packerfan1 – here’s the full results of the Alabama-Delta State dual meet. Winning time in men’s 50 free was 20.54. Maybe you glanced at last year’s results on accident?
