Diving Gold Medalist, Xin Wang Spends Week At Bryant

Former Olympic diving gold medalist Xin Wang is spending the week visiting the campus of Bryant University and working with the divers on the Bryant University swimming and diving team.

Xin won a gold medal in the 10 meter synchronized diving at the 2008 Olympics. She also earned a bronze medal in the 10 meter individual diving event. Xin has also won several FINA world diving championships, competing in Germany, Italy, Mexico, Canada, the United State, Australia and Great Britain.

During her time in Smithfield, Xin has served as an assistant coach with the divers. She has coached them during their dry-land sessions and in the pool.

Currently, Xin is studying as a graduate exchange student at NC State through the Beijing Sport University.
