Distance Swimmer Katrina Kanzari Commits to Wilmington College

Fitter and Faster Swim Clinics is the proud sponsor of SwimSwam’s College Recruiting Channel and all commitment news. For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.

Beavercreek High School’s Katrina Kanzari has committed to swim at Wilmington College beginning in the fall of 2019. In January, her club team tweeted:

The Dayton Raiders distance specialist competed at the 2018 OH BGSC Senior Circuit, where she achieved best times in most of her best events:

Top SCY Times:

  • 1650 free – 19:20.34
  • 1000 free – 11:38.54
  • 500 free – 5:44.90
  • 200 breast – 2:51.06
  • 50 free – 29.20
  • 200 IM – 2:35.50

Katrina’s best times could make her the team’s second fastest 500, 1000, and 1650 behind Margaret Hover even as an incoming freshman.

Outside of the pool, Katrina is the Senior Athlete Representative for the Ohio Swimming Board of Directors.
