Distance Freestyle Swimmer Wilson Dubois Commits to the UMass Minutemen

Wilson Dubois, a current high school senior from Alpharetta, Georgia, has committed to swim for D1 University of Massachusetts. Dubois will graduate from high school in May 2020 and join the UMass Minutemen’s class of 2024 under head coach Russ Yarworth.

Dubois is a distance freestyle specialist and he currently swims for Swim Atlanta, the #1 ranked swim club in Georgia.

With his current best times, Dubois would have placed 11th in the 1650 freestyle (15:59.14) and 15th in the 200 backstroke (1:55.32) at the 2019 Atlantic-10 Championships.

At this meet, the UMass placed 6th as a team, including the 7th, 9th, and 10th place finishers in the 1650 free, all of whom swam 15:50-somethings.

Dubois will begin his swimming career at UMass beginning fall 2020.
