HI Guys, will someone please interview Rachel Bootsma. Missy deserves everything she gets. She is a fantastic young lady, but Rachel beat Natalie to make the Olympic Team and most people had not heard of her. Todd deserves a big congratulations for his work with Missy, but Kate Lundsten also deserves a big congratulations for her work with Rachel. It is great that we have two Olympians who live and train in pl;aces like Colorado and Minnesota. It shows that there are great swimmers and coaches all over the country.

But many of them are available on short time, because the nazis NBC would tell youtube to pull them out.

I have noticed that Missy wasn’t sure to swim the 200 free in Omaha and she said she did it only because she wanted to be on the relay. I think she didn’t need to prove she deserved a spot. But she has not spoken about the individual. She has a smart coach and I hope she’ll take the right decision. 1 gold medal is better than 2 bronze medals.

I haven’t watched the races this time and I hope they will be archived somewhere.
When I see the results I can say it has been a great day of competition.
Michael and Ryan have made the minimum to qualify in the 200 free.
Great time for Missy in the 100 back. But I continue my lobbying. She must forget the 200 free if she wants to win the 100 back. This girl is amazing and has so many things to work in her race. The last 50 are always a show with her. She can break the world record in the years to come. As expected Rachel Bootsma was slower in final but she’s qualified and… Read more »

So has Lacourt actually trained enough this year to challenge Grevers, or is he still spending all his time modelling?

Since last summer he’s focused on training. I think he’s able to swim his time from 2010. We have now two giants as favorites in the 100 back.

I think you forget the Allison Schmitt can probably be a 53 low with a flat start after how fast she was in Austin and I would expect her to be on that relay if she puts up a decent swim here in Omaha.

Agree with you but she will be perhaps a little tired.

Don’t forget about natalie on that 4 x 100 medley relay. She could still bounce back with a good 100 free yet and end up anchoring that one
