Two DART (Davis Arden Hills Racing Team) swimmers have made their intentions public this week: Lanna Kozlowski has given a verbal commitment to Loyola Marymount University, while Abby Mitchell has chosen to compete for Cal State University East Bay.
Kozlowski specializes in distance freestyle. Swimming for Davis Senior High School at the 2015 Sac-Joaquin Section Championships, Kozlowski scored 12th in the 500 free and 14th in the 200 free. Her best SCY times come from the 2015 Juanita Allington Memorial meet last February:
- 500 free – 5:08.97
- 1000 free – 10:36.94
- 1650 free – 17:52.69
Mitchell specializes in middle distance free. In addition to DART, she competes for Vacaville High School, and placed 15th in the 200 free at the Sac-Joaquin Section meet last May. Her best times are:
- 100 free – 55.41
- 200 free – 1:58.16
- 500 free – 5:27.27
Mitchell and Kozlowski will meet up again next year, as both LMU and CSU East Bay compete in the Pacific Collegiate Swim and Dive Conference (PCSC).
