Danes Release Qualifying Times for European and Nordic Juniors

The Danish Swimming Federation release the qualifying times for both the 2014 European Junior Championships and the 2013 Nordic Junior Championships.

The European Junior Championships will be held in Dordrecht, Netherlands from July 16th to the 20th of 2014. Last year the Danes came away with a gold and a bronze and will be hoping that the standards encourage a lot better results. There can four swimmers qualify per event, except in the 800 and 1500 freestyle where there will only be two spots on the team.

Swimmers must swim the qualifying standards at the 2014 Danish Open.

The Nordic Junior Championships will be held in Torshavn, Faroe Islands from December 6th to 8th of 2013. For this event one swimmer per category, swimmers born in 1998 and 1999, with a maximum of eight athletes per gender, per category and one subjective relay position.

Swimmers must post the qualifying standards at the DSM-Short Course in Gladsaxe which runs from November 14th to 17th of 2013.
