Salo On USC’s Pac-12 Win: “We’re Going To Make This A Habit” (Video)

Women’s 2016 Pac-12 Swimming and Diving Championships

Dave Salo and the USC Trojans had a historic weekend, capturing their first-ever Pac-12 championship title. The above video features short interviews from Salo and team members Chelsea Chenault and Kristen Vose. Chenault had a very successful weekend, capturing a Pac-12 title in the 500 free (4:39.13). Meanwhile, Vose was the 200 free runner-up (1:44.19). Both swimmers were also members of the winning 800 free relay, where Vose, Anika ApostalonChenault, and Allie Wooden teamed up for 6:55.17.

TEAM SCORES:

USC was successful in capturing their first Pac-12 Championship as a team this weekend. The Trojans finished 1st after a hard fought battle with the Stanford women, who were 2ndoverall. The Cal Golden Bears wound up in 3rd.

Arizona took 4th overall with a total of 1125 points. UCLA closed out the top 5 with 995 points.
