Goffstown High School (New Hampshire) senior Keelin Kendall has made a verbal commitment to Northeast Conference defending champions, Central Connecticut State University, for the fall of 2016.
“I am very excited to be a Blue Devil!”
Kendall swims for Executive Swim Club and her strongest events are breaststroke and IM:
SCY | LCM | |
50 breast | 31.72 | 36.60 |
100 breast | 1:07.14 | 1:16.40 |
200 breast | 2:27.18 | 2:50.24 |
200 IM | 2:12.50 | 2:32.02 |
Kendall will add to the strength of the Blue Devils’ breast/IM group. At the 2015 Northeast Conference Championships, CCSU had two “A” finalists in both the 100 and 200 breaststrokes and four in the 200 IM. Kendall would have easily made the “B” finals in the breast events and the “C” in the IM.
Central Connecticut State won the NEC women’s title in 2015 for the first time in six years, after having earned back-to-back crowns in 2008 and 2009, and one more in 2001. Head Coach Bill Ball was named the 2015 NEC Coach of the Year and first-year Diving Coach Anthony Cortright was tabbed the 2015 NEC Diving Coach of the Year.
