RIVERSIDE – California Baptist University hosted its fifth home event of the season, welcoming NCAA Division III powerhouse Claremont-Mudd-Scripps to the Lancer Aquatics Center on a beautiful Friday afternoon. Today’s distance meet saw CBU sweep CMS, as the Lancer women defeated the Athenas 147.5-95.5 while the Lancer men claimed victory over the Stags, 144-94.

The Lancer dive squads will partake in arguably the most competitive meet of the regular season as they travel to Westwood to take part in the three-day Bruin Diving Invitational at Spieker Aquatics Center hosted by UCLA from Jan. 14-16. The swimmers will make their way to UC Santa Barbara for the first time in program history to challenge the Gauchos head-to-head at the Campus Pool on Jan. 15.
