Connecticut HS Swim Coach Placed On Leave After Swimmers Fall Sick…..A Stamford, Connecticut high school swimming coach has been placed on leave following an incident involving his athletes practicing in an untreated pool. Stamford Public Schools Public Affairs Officer Sharon Beadele told The Stamford Advocate, “The condition of the pool water and the adverse physical reactions warranted an investigation of the situation.” Head Coach Rick Lewis, Westhill-Stamford coach since 1979, has been placed on leave.
