Boise State had little trouble downing the Beavers at home today in a dual.
The Broncos had multiple double winners on the day, including Ally Kleinsorgen and Laura Williams. Kleinsorgen handled the backstrokes, winning the 100 in 56.58 and returning to take the 200 in 2:03.90.
Meanwhile, Williams topped the breaststroke fields, taking both the 100 (1:05.25) and the 200 (2:20.74).
These wins came after the Broncos dominated the 200 medley relay, winning over OSU by nearly six seconds. They were led off by a scorching 25.66 from Sam Wicks, followed by Williams on breaststroke, Brittany Aoyama on fly, and Katelyn Martin as anchor.
Aoyama and Martin tangled in two individual events. Martin took the upper hand in the 50 free by a hair, touching at 23.63 to Aoyama’s 23.69, while Aoyama turned up the heat in the 100 fly (54.77) to beat Martin by over two seconds.
OSU got their win, though, from senior distance stud Sammy Harrison. She took the 1000 free at 10:18.25, over 8 seconds ahead of the next-best finisher.
The Broncos finished with a score of 150 to Oregon State’s 104.
