Sanuj Srivastava

Indian swimmer Sanuj Srivastava was born on 21 January 1996 in India. He started loving water at the age of 13 and seeing his love for water, his friends named him “Gold Fish”. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 2016. Sanuj has been into swimming for more than 8 years and is also inspiring people to learn swimming by uploading more than 1000 videos on his YouTube (Swimming By Sanuj).

Sanuj has a unique blend of executive skills, team-building with a focus on strategic activities. Sanuj Srivastava almost learned every technique in swimming without any coach, he read and watched techniques from SwimSwam and YouTube and applied them on himself.

In 2009, at the age of 13, he developed a passion for swimming and joined a 25-meter public swimming pool. He received his first medal (silver) in the 50m butterfly event at the CBSE School Games, 2011. He participated in the Senior State 4 times and received a bronze medal in the Senior State competition in 2015 and in the same year he completed the 18 km River Marathon swim in the holy river Ganga and stood 8th among 34 other swimmers. He participated in the University National Game 2 times.

Apart from swimming, he got All India Rank 1st in Computer Olympiad in 2011, before that he got 15th (A.I.R.) rank in 2010 and 762 (A.I.R.) in 2011.
