Nicolas Albiero is a competitive swimmer who represents the United States internationally.

2017-2018
Albiero finished sixth in the 100 back (45.16) and ninth in the 200 fly (1:40.85) at the NCAA Championships. He was also part of the seventh place 800 free relay, 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay teams as well as the 15th place 200 free relay at the NCAAs.
At his first ACC Champs, Albiero won his first ACC title in the 200 fly (ACC meet record 1:41.08), while finishing second in the 100 back (45.44) and third in the 100 fly (45.60). He was also a member of the ACC title winning 200 medley relay, runnerup 400 medley relay and third place 200 free relay and 400 free relay teams at the conference meet
For his accomplishments throughout the year, he was voted the ACC Freshman of the Year.
2018-2019
At the 2019 NCAA Championships, Albiero finished fourth in the 200 fly (1:40.08), sixth in the 100 back (45.08) and ninth in the 100 fly (45.14). He also swam on the fifth place 400 medley relay, sixth place 400 free relay, sixth place 800 free relay and 10th place 200 free relay teams.
Albiero repeated as ACC champion in the 200 fly (ACC meet record 1:40.70), while finishing second in the 100 back (44.88) and fourth in the 100 fly (45.37) at the ACC Championships. He was a member of the ACC title winning 400 free and 800 free relay teams and the runnerup 200 medley and 400 medley relays at the conference meet.
2019-2020
At the 2020 ACC Championships, Albiero took titles in both the 100 fly (44.86) and 200 fly (1:38.65), becoming the 4th fastest performer all-time in the latter. He also took 3rd in the 100 back (44.75).
