Ming Ong

Ming started competitively swimming when she was 8 years old. She was born in the states, but has lived in Sydney, Australia for most of her life. Ming was on her high school tennis team for all four years. She loves going to the beach and participating in all kinds of water activities. She is looking to pursue a business degree at Emory.

2014-2015

Ming Ong started the season off remarkably well at Emory Blue vs. Gold meet where she broke several records and posted impressive times. She went onto the Miami Invitational where she showed her range and went 7th and 8th in the 50 free and 400 IM respectively. At 2015 DIII Nationals, Ming recorded two personal bests in the 200 IM(2:03.90) and 400 IM(4:20.46). She earned 3rd in the 400 IM and 7th in the 200 IM.
