Ky-lee Perry is a competitive swimmer who represents the United States internationally.

2016-2017
Ky-lee Perry made an immediate impact on the wolfpack in her freshman season. At the ACC Championships, she won titles in the 50 free (in a program record) and with the 200 free relay, 400 free relay and 200 medley relay (the last 2 were conference records). For this, she earned ACC Freshman of the year. At the NCAA Championships, Perry earned All-America honors with the 200 free relay (4th), 400 free relay (5th) and 200 medley relay (7th), the 200 free relay again setting a school and conference record.
2017-2018
On January 31, 2018, it was announced that defending ACC 50 free champ Ky-Lee Perry was out for 4-6 weeks after dislocating her elbow and tearing a tendon. She missed the 2018 ACC Championships, but she did swim at the 2018 NCAA’s, where she placed 22nd in the 50 free and aided the 14th place 200 free relay.
2018-2019
During her junior year, Perry was back in top form. At the ACC Championships, she notched a 2nd place finish in the 50 free (21.69) and 3rd place in the 100 free (47.50). She was also a member of the ACC title winning 200 medley relay and 200 free relay teams, which set pool and ACC meet records, and the winning 400 medley relay team and 2nd place 400 free relay team.
At the NCAA’s, Perry finished a career-best 7th in both the 50 free (21.57) and 100 free (47.43). At the NC’s, she was also a member of the third place 200 medley relay, fourth place 400 medley relay, fifth place 200 free relay and 10th place 400 free relay teams.
National/International Competition
2018 Summer Nationals
At the 2018 Summer nationals in Irvine, Perry finished 10th in the 50 free (25.19), qualifying her for the 2019 World University Games in Naples, Italy.
2019 World University Games
In her lone event at the summer universiade, Perry took gold in the 50 free with a time of 25.08, tying her lifetime best that she registered in the prelims of the event.
