Joy Field swims for Magnolia Aquatic Club in Texas under coach Terry Jones. Field recently signed a Letter if Intent to attend and swim at Texas A&M University in the Fall of 2017.
2016 Speedo Summer Junior Nationals Championships
Field won the 1500M free with a time of 16:52.54. She finished 2nd in the 800M free with a time of 8:38.94, and 7th in the 400M free, clocking a 4:16.58.
2016 US Olympic Trials
Field finished 11th in the 800M Free dropping her time to 8:36.06, and finished 43rd in the 400M Free, just slightly slower than her Speedo JN Time from above (4:16.63).
2016 Junior Pan Pacific Championships
Field started with the 200M Free finishing 20th with a time of 2:03.30. In her second event, the 800M Free, Field lowered her time by almost five seconds to an 8:31.21 finishing in 2nd place. She finished the meet with a Gold Medal performance in the 1500M free, dropping her previous best by 10 seconds to a 16:14.79.
