Hugh Jacobsen
Hugh joined the Aquamules after being a key member of Lakeside School’s two WIAA Swimming 3A State Championships. He made the jump to Mayflower Hill with high school teammate and friend Gavin Blake. He is one of the team’s top IMers and sprinters and has been a cornerstone of his incoming class.
Colby College Swimming and Diving
2014-2015
Hugh made quite the impact in his first season at Colby. He was a scorer in the dual meet season and combined with teammates Paul Wennberg and John Divine to form a deadly 1-2-3 in the 100 breast events. At NESCAC championships, he was a member of the record breaking 400 free relay and dropped time in his individual events.
Personal
Hugh is a passionate Seattle Seahawks fan. Their most recent loss to the New England Patriots in the 2015 Super Bowl may have been the low-point of his sports year. However, don’t fret. He is quite confident that the ‘Hawks will make their way back to the big game next year. He also seems to be hiding a dedicated devotion to all things Taylor Swift.
