Daniel Krueger is a competitive swimmer who represents in the USA internationally.
High School
In high school, Krueger competed for the McFarland Spartan Sharks. He swam at the 2016 Olympic Trials in the 50/100 free, and later that year represented the USA at the Junior Pan Pacific championships, where he won gold on both the 400 free and 400 medley relays.
Krueger was ranked #4 on SwimSwam’s Top 20 NCAA Recruits for the class of 2018, and moved up to #5 on SwimSwam’s Re-rank of that class. On May 10, 2017, Krueger announced his verbal commitment to the University of Texas.

2018-2019
In his freshman year, Krueger helped the horns to an NCAA title in the 400 free relay, as well as a 3rd place finish in the 200 free relay. He also placed 4th individually in the 100 free (41.56).
At the Big 12 championships, he took titles in the 50 free (19.40), 100 free (42.33), 400 medley relay, 200 free relay, and 400 free relay.
2019-2020
In his sophomore year at the Big 12 Championships, Krueger defended his titles in the 50 and 100 free, tying his lifetime best at 19.19 in the 50 and dropping a lifetime best in the 100 at 41.26, a new meet record.
