Carly Geehr

Carly GeehrCarly burst onto the swimming scene in 1997 when she qualified for the Pan Pacific championships at the ripe old age of 12. She later earned a silver medal at the 1999 Pan American Games in the 800 free relay and competed on the World Cup circuit.

A few shoulder and knee surgeries later, she swam for Stanford and graduated with a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a love for Stanford Football. When not doing Crossfit, making ridiculously elaborate cakes, or obsessively checking swimming results, Carly works at a tech startup in Silicon Valley as a designer and developer.

Her proudest swimming accomplishment is the fact that Missy Franklin broke one of her NAG records.
