Audrey Lacroix

Audrey Lacroix was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on November 17, 1983.

International Career

Pan-American Games

At the 2003 Games, Lacroix won gold in the 200M butterfly, and bronze in the 1ooM Butterfly, and as part of the 4x100M Free Relay, and the 4x100M Medley Relay.

At the 2015 Games, Lacroix gain won gold in the 299M Butterfly, repeating the feat she accomplished 12 years earlier.

2004 World Championships (25M Pool)

Lacroix won the bronze medal in the 200M Butterfly.

Commonwealth Games

At the 2006 Games, Lacroix finished third in the 100M Butterfly. She followed that up in 2010 Games with a silver in the 200M Butterfly, and a bronze in the 4×100 Medley Relay. And again at the 2014 Games with a gold in the 200M Butterfly, and repeating the bronze medal performance in the 4×100 Medley Relay.

Olympics

Competing in her first Olympic in 2008, Lacroix finaled as part of two relays, finishing 8th in the 4x100M Free Relay and seventh in the 4x100M Medley Relay. She also swam both the 100M and 200M Butterfly, but did not make it to the finals in either.

In 2012 Lacroix again competed in the 200M Butterfly, fibishing 12th overall.

At 32 years of age, Lacroix is the longest standing member of the Canadian National Team. She will be competing in her third Olympics in Rio this summer.
