Backstroker Felicia Pasadyn to Join Sister Cassandra at Harvard

Hinckley, Ohio’s Felicia Pasadyn has verbally committed to the application process at Harvard University*. She will overlap two years with sister Cassandra Pasadyn, a member of the Crimson women’s swimming and diving class of 2021. The pair have two more sisters: Selena ran cross country/track at Harvard, class of 2016; Vanessa runs cross country/track at Case Western, class of 2020.

“I am thrilled to announce my commitment to the admissions process at Harvard University! I cannot wait to be a member of the Harvard Women’s Swim and Dive family. The academic excellence, wonderful team, and incredible coaching staff is everything I could hope for in a school. I feel blessed to have had such phenomenal support from my loving family, coaches, teammates, and friends throughout this journey. GO CRIMSON!”

Like her sister before her, Pasadyn is a OHSAA Division I state champion in the 100 back, having won the title in 2018 with 54.28. She also placed 3rd in the 200 IM (2:00.78). In club swimming, where she represents SwimStrongville, Pasadyn is a Winter Juniors-or-better qualifier in the 100/200 back, 200/400 IM, and 200/500 free. She is versatile enough that she can slot in anywhere the Crimson need her. She would have been an A finalist in the 100/200 back, and 200/400 IM, a B finalist in the 200/500 free and 100 breast, and a C finalist in the 100 free and 100 fly at 2018 Ivy League Women’s Championship.

*IVY LEAGUE DISCLAIMER: A “verbal commitment” by a coach is not an offer of admission, as only the Admissions Office has that authority. An Ivy League coach can only commit his or her support in the admissions process. Moreover, an Ivy League Likely Letter is not an offer of admission to the university.
