The Cali, Colombia, native led SMU at Rice on Friday evening with a record-setting performance in the 100-yard backstroke. Arcila finished in a time of 56.41 to break the previous record, which was set by fellow Mustang Therese Svendsen in 2011.

Shchukin, Goettler net Swimming & Diving Weekly Honors for St. Bonaventure

Shchukin (featured image) recorded three first-place finishes over the weekend, including a victory in the 100-yd freestyle in which he posted a time of 44.09. His time in 100-yd free currently ranks as the 7th fastest time in the nation.
