TUSCALOOSA – Alabama Swimming and Diving returns to action against Auburn Friday at the James E. Martin Aquatic Center in Auburn, Ala., starting at 4 p.m. CT. It marks the final dual meet of the season for the Alabama men and women.
The Crimson Tide women enter the meet ranked sixth in the CSCAA Coaches Poll, with the men’s squad checking in at No. 14. The Alabama men hold a 3-2-0 dual meet record with wins over Delta State, South Carolina and LSU. The UA women also hold a 3-2-0 dual meet record recording wins over Arkansas, South Carolina and LSU.
The meet will stream on ESPN+ with live results available via the MeetMobile app.
Nationally Ranked
- The Crimson Tide women’s squad is currently ranked No. 6 in the CSCAA Coaches Poll with the men holding down the No. 14 spot
- Alabama has 28 swims ranked in the top-25 nationally, including three No.1 rankings
- The Auburn women are currently rank No. 19 No. 9 in the CSCAA Coaches Poll with the men checking in at No. 9
Last time out
- Alabama picked up five wins last weekend after hosting No 2/2 Texas and No. 6/14 Ohio State in the team’s first tri-meet of the season
- Rhyan White, Avery Wiseman, Kailyn Winter and Kalia Antoniou opened the meet with a win in the women’s 200 medley relay
- Kensey McMahon earned wins in the women’s 500 and 1,000 freestyle, going times of 4:47.43 and 9:44.97 respectively
- Antoniou won the women’s 50 freestyle, touching at 22.39
- White finished first in the women’s 200 backstroke with a 1:54.03
- Charlie Hawke took top honors in the men’s 200 freestyle with a time of 1:34.64
