LITTLE ROCK – The women’s swim and dive team swept the tri-meet against Arkansas-Little Rock (122.00-48.00) and Tulane (122.00-101.00), posting first-place finishes in four events.
The 200-yard medley relay team consisting of Anna Ashley, Kimmy Woolfenden, Allana Clarke and Sefilina Maile took the top-spot in the event with a time of 1:46.26.
Woolfenden also had first-place success in the 200-yard breaststroke, finishing ahead of the pack with a time of 2:21.71. The win marked Woolfenden’s second individual first-place finish of the two-day event.
Corbyn Cormack, who finished first in the 100-yard butterfly and 400-yard IM in day one, posted her third first-place finish of the tri-meet, winning the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:05.61. Cormack finished just behind Woolfenden in the 200-yard breaststroke, posting a 2:23.52 for a second-place finish.
“Our team stepped up in a big way this weekend and we are coming home with some big wins,” head coach Colleen Murphy said. “Every single race was a hard fought battle and their resiliency throughout the meet was amazing. The final session came down to the last two events and they rose to a new level and finished with so much grit and determination.”

Next up, Air Force hosts Nebraska-Omaha and the Colorado School of Mines in the Cadet Natatorium opener, Friday, October 15. Action is slated to begin at 6 p.m. The divers will travel to Riverside, California, to compete at the Cal Baptist Diving Invite, Saturday, October 16.
