UCLA sophomore Abbi Hill (Santa Barbara, CA/Dos Pueblos HS) scored five goals on eight shots in the No. 3 Bruins’ 13-9 win at No. 5 UC Irvine (Feb. 26). She added one assist for six points and was credited with one drawn exclusion. Hill scored one goal in the first, second, and fourth periods and twice in the third. Her goal with 2:20 left in the third quarter was the eventual game-winner. This is the fourth career MPSF weekly award for Hill.

California freshman Reagan Whitney (Los Angeles, CA/Marymount HS) scored her second-straight hat trick, putting away three goals in the No. 8 Bears’ 19-8 win over No. 16 San Jose State (Feb. 27). She added two steals in the win. This is the first career MPSF honor for Whitney.
