The Telly Awards has named The Fitter and Faster Swim Tour’s ‘Swim Like a Champion’ video series as a Silver Winner in the Sports Category in the 35th Annual Telly Awards. Over 12,000 videos from across the United States were submitted for consideration, and the Silver Telly is the highest honor given.
The Fitter and Faster Swim Tour presented by SwimOutlet.com has been a pioneer in the sport of swimming, producing more than 113 swim clinics in 2013, over 120 for 2014, with 200 annual swim clinics on the horizon. With the tour’s broad and indepth reach across the United States, they have learned a lot about swim training, swim technique and how to be the fastest swimmer you can be. Founder and CEO David Arluck felt it was time to document everything they had learned. With Championship Productions support, Arluck executive produced the Swim Like a Champion Video Series.

“This video series was a long time coming. I had known since about five years before we began production that the Fitter and Faster Swim Tour needed to create a video,” said Arluck. “The time was right and I knew in Championship Productions, that I had selected a team who would carry out my vision and enable the athletes featured in the video to teach and communicate their message better than any other swimming video ever made.”
To put the Silver Telly into perspective, Championship Productions has produced thousands of videos over the past 38 years. They are the most highly regarded sports instructional video company in the United States. This is only the SECOND TIME they have won the Telly Silver Award. Their first Silver Telly was won in 2006 for their production of Duke Basketball’s Breaking the Press featuring Duke University Head Basketball Coach Mike Krzyzewski.
Other 2014 Telly Silver Winners in the Sports category, include ABC Sports, ESPN International, Fox Sports and the Chicago Bulls basketball team.
