Boston University, Bucknell and Lehigh each placed two in the “A” final of the women’s 500 free, with the top qualifying spot going to BU’s Stephanie Nasson (4:48.84). Bucknell senior Kelly Pontecorvo is second seed and BU’s Sarah Hargrave is third. The League record is 4:43.44 (Tara Chapmon, Navy, 2010).

Half the lanes in the men’s 500 free “A” final will be filled with Midshipmen, including the top three qualifiers: Alex Nickell (4:25.83), Riley Mita, and Thomas Duvall. The League record for the men is 4:17.27 (Tom Duvall, Navy, 2013).

Bucknell women loaded up the 200 IM final, garnering four of the top eight spots. The fastest qualifiers are Charlotte Meyer (2:02.56) and Anna Brooks (2:02.98) of Navy and Amber McDonnell of Bucknell. The League record is 1:59.95 (Laura Gorinski, Navy, 2012).

The top qualifiers in the men’s 200 IM are fairly tightly bunched, with the four fastest all at 1:49. Mike Nicholson of Bucknell leads with 1:49.13, then come Conor Campbell (Navy), Mun Hon Lee (BU), and Samuel Mo (Army). The League record is 1:44.49 (Adam Meyer, Navy, 2009).

Kaitlyn Ruffing of Lehigh and Sami Wary of Colgate qualified second and third. The League record is 22.36 (Thuy-Mi Dinh, Navy, 2009).
