Bovell To Run Free Clinics For Young Trinidadian Swimmers

George Bovell will be hosting a series of free, no-charge clinics for young swimmers in his home country of Trinidad and Tobago. Bovell a four time Olympian, who collected a bronze in the 200 IM in 2004 will be joined by Olympic silver medalists Milorad Cavic of Serbia and Duje Draganja of Croatia to run swim clinics at the Blue Dolphins swimming pool at CIC Grounds, St. Clair.

The three will run a three hour clinic on Thursday January 9th and Friday January 10th as well as a two hour clinic on Saturday January 11th. Along with the clinics they will also be hosting a coaching symposium on Saturday. The clinics will be available to athletes 11 years and older who have competed at the junior national level and will focus enhancing the athletes technical abilities while providing them with strategies that they can use in daily training.

This is the second straight year that Bovell has run the event.

A press conference to kick off the event is schedule to begin tomorrow at 11 am local time.
