(NLI Photos) Barnard, Chamberlain Sign Letters to Swim for Indiana

A pair of swimmers have signed their National Letters of Intent to swim for the Indiana Hoosiers. Delaney Barnard, above, swims for Forida powerhouse Chiles High School, and below, Marie Chamberlain swims for the Cape Cod YMCA Mako Swim Team in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

Barnard is off to a great start for her senior season as well. Last weekend, she swam a 51.02 to win the Florida 3A High School State Championship in the 100 yard free. That was her second career individual State Title (she won the 50 as a sophomore).

Below, Chamberlain signs her letter and will join an outstanding Indiana backstroke group, coming in with a best of 53.56 in the 100 yard distance. She’s already been under 55 seconds this year (54.94) without having swum any meets of any real significance., which sets up for a freat senior season for her as well. Read more about her commitment here.
