In our final progression of the freestyle flip turn the swimmers put it all together. Coach Gary leads the campers through their final progression by having them approach and breakout into a mid pool flip with no fins. We break down the flip turn into two progressions; the approach and the breakout. This allows the swimmer to focus on each element rather than trying to learn it all at once. We see so many swimmers making mistakes on the flip turn that if done fast it can be the difference between winning and losing a race. Find out how the swimmers perform after they’ve learned the progressions.
